Visit Oxford, Mississippi

Oxford is a sweet and very special place.  I know that you will enjoy your time here.  The Visit Oxford, MS website is very helpful and has lots of information about lodging options, dining options, and other tourist activities.  Because everybody likes different things, I encourage everyone to make the arrangements that suit them.

The airport in Memphis, Tennessee is the closest airport.  It is about an hour and fifteen minutes from Oxford. 

Because Oxford is home to Ole Miss, it can be a very busy place and – during an SEC football weekend – the hotel prices are shocking, and the restaurants are full to bursting. 

I am making every effort to schedule my retreats during quieter times.  To be sure, do not confuse quaint with sleepy: Oxford has top notch accommodation and superb dining.  It is a lovely town, and I am confident you will fall in love with it.
